Back in April, I photographed this fun couples wedding. You may notice that I also photographed their engagement session in the Autumn a few months before! These two are the essence of finding your best friend in a partner and I was so glad they chose me to be a part of their big day.
The day started at Helen and Greg’s house for the bridal prep. I love photographing the entire wedding, but there’s something about the bridal prep I adore; the excitement, the emotions and the support of friends and family before the big moment. Plus, spending extra time photographing those pretty details is always a delight!
A good friend will speak kind words to calm you down when you’re feeling a little nervous, a true friend will crack open the bubbly!
(one of my engagement photos behind the moet!)
After doing the first part of the bridal prep, I headed over to the hotel the lads were staying at, which was only a hop, skip and a jump away from Greg and Helen’s home.
The vicar looks like he’s about to rap some sick verses…
“Woohoo! We did it!”
After a quick bus journey, Helen, Greg, the maid of honour and myself hopped off for couple portraits. We took a quick walk to the park where I first photographed Helen and Greg for their engagement session, only this time the autumn colours had disappeared and were replaced by the flowers coming into bloom.
I was gutted to go home after photographing this wedding, but I came home flicking through the images feeling so happy with the moments I had captured and couldn’t wait to make a start on editing. If you’d like to see the rest of the set from this day, follow this link.
I hope you enjoyed looking at these photos and a smile emerged on your face from seeing the smiles, laughter and fun times had by this couple and their loved ones.
I have more weddings and stories from 2017 to upload to this website and blog, keep your eyes peeled!
