When 2019 started, I made it my new year’s resolution to journal and blog more. So far it’s going well, I’m determined to keep the pace! Almost a year ago, I had the pleasure of taking some promotional photographs for Sioned at Tulipa Flowers – I went over to her lovely home and saw some beautiful set ups for her floral designs.
Keep scrolling, and watch the transition of pastels to jewel tones and going into warmer colour co-ordinations, reminiscent of the transitioning seasons!
“With freedom, books, flowers and the moon, who could not be happy?” – Oscar Wilde.
I loved the way how this pastel display looked like something you’d see in an art gallery.
This has to be my favourite colour scheme throughout the day – the jewel colour palette is gorgeous, and I love how the shades of purple and green pop against the turquoise.
After photographing pastels and jewel tones, we moved onto photographing something a little more autumnal… This set up reminded me of something from a Tim Walker shoot. I would love to do a fashion/editorial or styled bridal shoot with this sort of set up and colour scheme!
I hope you enjoyed looking through these photo’s as much as I enjoyed taking them! You can see more in this gallery here.
